Updated 3/03 [M 35]I have been sleeping in the nude for at least 5 years now. Living in the Greater L.A. area the weather does permit it more than living in the Northeast especially in the winter. As for why I do it - I LOVE the feel of the sheets and the blanket directly on my skin. Also, I am not "trapped" by clothes bunching up on me during the night and since I toss and turn somewhat this is important. In the winter time when it gets cooler I simply add another blanket while in the summer sometimes I only sleep with a sheet as a blanket. The only time I do wear something to bed is when I am in a room with someone else - such as when a (male) friend and I travel to some sporting event or the like in a city that requires spending the night in hotel (with a bed for EACH of us - lol) and then I wear shorts. When I share a bed with a female, I love to feel her back pressed directly against my chest (or a rare Vice Versa) and if she has long hair, that hair is between her back and my chest and that soft silky feeling is to die for! I also like the fact I can reach over and place my arm around her waist pulling her closer into me or if the mood calls for it, reach down and finger her or cup her breasts. I do keep a pair of shorts to the side of the bed "just in case" but other than that, I sleep in the buff. I know this is not part of the question, but I also have gone almost as long without wearing underwear, too.

[M 49] I like to sleep with nothing but a t-shirt. I started this a few years ago. I like the feeling of cool sheets when I get into bed. Updated 1/03 [M 62] I've been sleeping in the nude for the past 40 years. I really started because I am a "turner" when I sleep and my night clothing would get twisted around me. But, now, no other way, even in the coldest of nights. I recently began a new relationship and after making love for the first time, on the couch, we went to bed--hers. Updated 12/02 [M 55] Well, during the summer I would sleep only wearing a loose fitting thong. Now that winter is here, I sleep in silk pajamas, I have long pants or shorts depending on the temperature. All of the above feel sexy and give me boners throughout the night.

For the record, we're otherwise nude in general. Being naturists, we're often nude at home and when vacationing. When it comes to bed time, smooth skin is in!

[M 41] I am a guy, 41, and have slept nude ever since I got out of college. My wife sleeps in panties, and altho she professes to be modest, I've noticed that she 'accidentally' shows her bod all the time.
