The natural condition, as shown in some Greek statues, is for one testis to be lower than the other - I'm not sure which 'handedness' is the norm, but it has been the subject of detailed analysis, in order to show that the Greeks were right and thus careful observers. This style makes it look as though it's deliberately trimmed, rather than just all fallen out (as in certain conditions); in any case, I like to have something different! I can't think of any occasion when I've regretted doing this; it's part practical, part comfort and looks, and fun.

[M] I found it fascinating to search under pubic shaving and find so many
entries. I read them all. My wife and I have been into that for over 20
years now. When we first started, I didn't think too many people were into
shaving, but I guess a lot has changed since then.
I wanted to respond to several of the questions since we have had a lot of
experience with several methods of hair removal. I don't think much more
can be said about regular shaving. It'' after you have done it for a while
and want to explore other methods that last longer. You really like the
idea of being smooth "down there". Explore waxing. It'll last 3 to 4 weeks
and the regrowth is a lot finer. The hair needs to be about ¼ inch long in
order to try it. I would suggest on the first and second time that you go
to a salon that does body waxing and pay close attention as to how they do
it, and take the information home and try it on each other. There is a
product on the market called HAIR STOP most drug stores carry it. It's put
out by Surgi-gel. It's a hair inhibitor and it seems to work quite well.
Follow the directions on the container. It will slow that 3 to 4 weeks down
to 6 to 8 weeks.
I tried Electrolysis. This was after deciding I was sure I wanted to be
hair free permanently. You have to be very committed to do this. First of
all I found it difficult to find an electrologist willing to remove pubic
hair completely. Most of them were very reluctant, some just laughed and
hung up on me. So it took a lot of courage for me to call some of these
people. I must have tried at least 15 of 20. Some just said they felt
uncomfortable doing it on a male, which I understand. I finally found
someone who had no problem with it at all. As a matter of fact, they said
they do at least 8 or 10 people a year both male and female for a total
pubic hair removal. So we began a long relationship, twice a week,
30-minute treatments. It gets sort of pricey at $30 per treatment. I went
for about 6 months and it was about ¾ of the way complete. I had to stop
for several reasons and was unable to go back. We ended up moving out of
the area, and it was just impractical to continue. We really liked the
results. My wife didn't have the courage to do it; it does get painful.
So after a few years had gone by, I was back to waxing the remaining hair
off. Laser hair removal comes to light, and I just had to find out all I
could about it. This was definitely the solution to my problem. The first
surprise I found is there didn't seem to be the resistance to removing pubic
hair, all of them that I called on were very open to doing it.
They would set up a free consultation and even do a couple of free zaps to
the area to let you know how it feels. It's really painless. It is pricey,
about $175 per treatment, and they suggest about 3 treatments at 4-month
intervals, but the hair just falls right out and never grows back. It's
great to be completely hair free down there, and we have never regretted
deciding to do it.
I believe there was a comment from someone on your page about what would you
say to doctors or nurses that notice that you are hairless. I have never
had a comment from doctors or any medical staff, and I have had several
complete medical exams. If they were to say anything, just say it's your
preference. Besides, today with all the genital piercings, pubic grooming
is no big deal. Obviously from your web page, a lot of people are
discovering it.
[M] I have shaved my pubic area for years and have only recently discovered shaving oil. I shave once or twice a week, in the shower, with a Gillette Mach3. The results with oil are far superior to using soap or shaving foam. The trick is not to let the hair get too long and clog the razor. After drying off, I use a small amount of moisturising cream, followed by a light dusting of talc. use soap lather and have no problems with cuts or nicks. I do not shave the
