They recommend you start with thirty contractions and build up to doing three hundred a day. Now I know that sounds like a lot but I and my wife, yes she does them to but for the opposite reason I do them I'll get to that later, we do three hundred of them everyday. They're so easy to do you can do them while driving to work, or standing in line at the grocery store. I can do all three hundred in a half hour drive to town. The book tells you and I totally agree that you can plan on doing these for the rest of your life to keep your PC healthy.
The second exercise is the Long Slow Squeeze. This is the one you seem to be particularly interested in. You start out with thirty PC clamps to warm up then you flex your PC as hard as you can until you can't squeeze any harder and try and hold it for a count of twenty. Then rest for thirty seconds and repeat five times. As you progress doing these day to day try to hold it longer and longer until like the book says and I can vouch for after a couple of months you should be able to hold it for several minutes.
