Updated 1/06 [M] I ride bicycle a lot and have two lycra bike pants that I love the feel of. In fact, they feel so good, I almost always get the stirrings of an erection when I put them on. I don't have a lycra top, but may get one. Wife wears panties to bed and if it's really cold also a flannel top. Sometimes I wear a flannel top, but nothing on bottom. I've bought her some sexy nighties, but she says they aren't warm so she doesn't wear them.
Updated 12/05 [M] All my life I've had an affinity for wearing tights, pantyhose and other
similar garments. It began in the third grade when I was playing the part
of an angel in my school's Christmas show. Besides wearing white crepe
paper and cardboard wings my teacher wanted us (boys and girls) to wear
white clothing. My mother decided that I would wear tights and a leotard.
During the dress rehearsal and subsequently the other guys were wearing
white shirts with their usual jeans or cords. At first I felt very
different and a bit embarrassed.
However, my teacher praised me for really getting dressed up and the girls
were friendly and supportive of me. After a while the other boy's comments
had no effect. At that age I was obcessed with the cartoon character
Spiderman. As a result, I "trick-or-treated" wearing what would now be
called a catsuit or unitard which my mother drew designs on with chalk.
Again this was a pleasant experience. I suppose that wearing these garments
lets you remain "modestly" dressed while giving a "nearly naked" feeling.
Much later when I was doing my undergraduate degree at the University of
Calgary I joined the cross-country skiing team and was pleasantly surprised
by the clothing one wears for this sport. The one piece suit that you wear
for racing are similar to speed-skating suits but without the hood. Not
only are they tight fitting but you wear very little or no underwear as it
is a aerobically challenging sport in which one sweats profusely, even in
cold weather. This also means that after a race you need to strip
immediately and change into warm ups.
One fringe benefit of being on the team was seeing everybody, but especially
the women, in various states of nudity. It always felt natural and pleasant
to be nude like everyone else. This was probably led to me buying the men's
sized panty hose that are now available and wearing them during cold weather
and on other occasions. Not only does it feel great but it also reflects
one of my personal beliefs. To wit: if you fulfill an utilitarian function
stylishly and without offending other people you should by all means do so.
In conclusion, if being "Metrosexual" means rejecting gender stereotypes,
defining your own "code" of masculinity and, most importantly, thinking for
yourself then I consider myself proud to be Metrosexual!
